About X Esports

An organisation, not a group chat

X Esports exists to give competitive players a real structure: coaching, selection, scheduling and a standard that holds whether you're a trialist or a team captain.

Our story

Built from ranked lobbies to a real competitive setup

We started as three Rocket League players who wanted more than scattered scrims and group chats that went quiet after a loss. The fix was structure: a schedule, a coach, a review process and a place where progress is written down.

The club was founded in 2026 as Team Apex, then rebranded to X Esports — new name, same roster, same standard. Everything we'd built moved across with us.

Today X Esports fields Fortnite, Rocket League and Rainbow Six Siege squads, runs an academy with intakes twice a year, and hosts tournaments that give other teams a proper stage to play on. Everything runs through one system — applications, tryouts, rosters, fixtures and player progress.

What we stand for

Four rules that shape everything

01

Standards over vibes

Attendance, punctuality and review are non-negotiable. Turning up is the baseline, not the achievement.

02

Coaching is the product

Every session is logged. Every player has a plan. If we can't measure improvement, we change the plan.

03

Play for the badge

Rosters are teams, not collections of solos. Comms, attitude and accountability are scouted as hard as mechanics.

04

Open doors

Tryouts are free, applications are open to all ranks, and the academy exists so nobody is priced out of competing.
